The Peat Inn – Situated in the country a few miles west of the St Andrews/Leven road. 01334 840206. One of the best restaurants in Scotland with superb food and prices that reflect this.
Garden Restaurant, Rufflets Hotel – St Andrews 01334 472594. The 2AA Rosetted Restaurant, which features in all the major guides, is a popular venue for business entertaining and is a favourite dining out spot with local residents of St.Andrews and North East Fife. Traditional Sunday lunches are popular with families. Closed Sunday & Monday nights.
The Golf Hotel – St Andrews 01334 472611. Excellent food served in atmospheric surroundings overlooking the West Sands.
The Dunvegan – Pilmour Place, St Andrews 01334 473105. The Claret Jug Restaurant is a cosy, informal dining room that specialises in char-grilled steaks.
