The challenge here was to create borders which were small but looked good from June to October and we did this by careful plant selection, using plants with along flowering season, good leaves, persistent seedheads and with grasses. The planting was done in 2005 and most of the plants we used had been grown from seed at Cambo. These borders peak in June and July.
