We host the Dunhill Cup annually at Kingsbarns.  It offers a unique opportunity to stay and watch the good and great of the golf world pass by within an easy walk of the house.

The dunhill links championship will be played in Scotland from Thursday 2 October to Sunday 5 October, 2008. The celebration of links golf is a 72-hole stroke play pro-am tournament played over three of the world's most spectacular links courses: the Old Course at St Andrews, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns.

The championship, won by Paul Lawrie in 2001, Padraig Harrington in 2002, Lee Westwood in 2003, Stephen Gallacher in 2004, Colin Montgomory in 2005, Padraig Harrington in 2006 and Nick Dougherty in 2007 has featured some of the best golfers in the world including Ernie Els, Steve Elkington, Retief Goosen, Colin Montgomerie, Darren Clarke, Vijay Singh, Nick Price and Thomas Bjorn with some of the best from the worlds of sport and entertainment: Sir Steve Redgrave, Michael Douglas, Kevin Costner, Kyle MacLachlan, Samuel L Jackson, Dennis Hopper, Ian Botham, Shane Warne, Nasser Hussain, Hugh Grant, Jodie Kidd, Boris Becker, Gary Lineker, Ian Wright, Peter Schmeichal and Zinzan Brooke, amongst others.

Carrying on the tradition of excellence set by the Alfred Dunhill Cup which was played over the Old Course for sixteen years prior to the dunhill links championship, this new tournament has established itself as a unique event on the golfing calendar and looks set to provide another week of superb golfing entertainment.
