The Open Championship will next be held on the Old Course from Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th July 2010.
The Old Course was first used for The Open in 1873 and most recently hosted the 2005 Open won by Tiger Woods. Jack Nicklaus also played his final championship round here.
St Andrews is the only course to have held the event more often than Prestwick, and 2010 will be the 28th time it has hosted the tournament.
