St Andrews  Whatever the weather, you will always find something interesting to do in St Andrews (only 7 miles from Cambo).

Stroll round the beautiful historic buildings of St. Andrews University, and visit the 16th century castle, set high on the cliffs, which was used as a palace, fortress and prison (visitor centre with exhibition), or the ruins of the cathedral and climb the St. Rule Tower for a panoramic view of St. Andrews and the surrounding countryside.

Kinburn Museum has changing exhibitions and a very good tea-room, while the Museum run by the St. Andrews Preservation Trust portrays life in old St. Andrews and the high tech Golf Museum needs no other explanation.

A visit to the St Andrews Aquarium will delight adults and children alike and Craigtoun Park has a picturesque boating pond, train rides and crazy golf.

St. Andrews also provides an interesting selection of good specialist shops well worth browsing through.
