Attic

This convenient and compact apartment is at the very top of the house and therefore not for the weak-hearted!

It looks out over the lawns and play equipment and its interesting coombed ceiling rooms and dormer windows make it a popular choice.

The three bedrooms provide three single and a double bed. It is obvious from the wonderful row of bells in the galley kitchen (with breakfast bar) that the Attic was originally staff accommodation.

The cosy sitting room also has a dining table and chairs. One of the bathrooms, with bath and shower, contains another original feature of the house – a very splendid Victorian lavatory (with up-to-date plumbing!). The new bathroom is equally idiosyncratic with its steeply sloping roof and an upright bath with shower.

Situated immediately above East Wing to sleep 13.
