Snowdrops and Pigs

You may well ask – as many do – what possible connection there is between snowdrops and pigs?

Well, Patch and Bramble (Tamworths), Gerti (Gloucester Old Spot) and Honour and Patience ( Sadlebacks) all work hard for their keep by rootling up the ivy that constantly threatens to smother the snowdrops and each year they produce piglets which arrive along with the snowdrops.

So if snowdrops are not ‘your thing’, why not enjoy a winter walk, feed some ever hungry and very friendly pigs and enjoy some piglet pranks?

Fortunately the pigs don’t eat the snowdrop bulbs, they just dig them up the spread them.

Unusual combination but the perfect one for Cambo!
