CONDITIONS OF LET - BED AND BREAKFAST
Bookings. A deposit of £40 per room per night is required as confirmation of booking. Once processed, any changes to dates/apartments will each incur a £5 administration charge.
Cancellation. 75% of the deposit will be refunded in the event of cancellation more than 4 weeks prior to the date of arrival. An administration charge of £5.00 will be deducted for any deposit made by credit/debit card. No money can be refunded if cancellation is less than 4 weeks from the date of arrival. Cancellation insurance is recommended.
Pets. Please note, dogs are not permitted in the Yellow room, Blue Rooms or Clock Tower. For dog lovers, bed and breakfast is available in the Gardener’s Wing.
Period of Let. All lets commence at 2 pm and end at 10 am except when agreed in writing.
No Smoking. In line with current legislation, smoking is no longer allowed anywhere within the buildings of Cambo House.
CONDITIONS OF LET – SELF-CATERING PROPERTIES
(including bookings with breakfast)
Bookings. Bookings are accepted only on receipt of the appropriate payment, either by cheque or credit card. More than two months before arrival a non-refundable deposit of 30% is required as confirmation of booking. The balance is then payable two months before arrival. Less than two months before arrival, bookings are only accepted with full payment. In the event of failure to submit the balance 8 weeks before the date of entry we reserve the right to relet the property. Once processed, any changes to dates/apartments will each incur a £5 administration charge.
Cancellation. In the event of cancellation every effort will be made to relet but if this is unsuccessful the balance will be payable. Holiday cancellation insurance is therefore strongly recommended. Any refunds of credit/ debit cards will incur a £5 administration charge.
Numbers. The number of people occupying the property may not exceed the number agreed on booking without prior consent. We reserve the right to terminate the hire without notice if this condition is breached, or refuse to hand over keys to any person we deem unsuitable to take charge.
Pets. Dogs are permitted by special arrangement and should be kept on a lead at all times except in the apartment or cottage. This includes the communal stairs and passages in the mansion house. They should be kept off the furniture and out of bedrooms, be under supervision at all times and must not be left in the apartment/cottage unattended. There is a charge of £20 per week or £4 per day for each dog.
Inventory. Visitors are advised to check the inventory provided on arrival and report any discrepancies. In the event that you have more than one property please return all items to the original apartment. Visitors will be held liable for any loss or damage occurring during their stay.
Cleaning. All properties will have been cleaned before your arrival, and beds made up. Please leave the property in a clean and tidy condition or you will be liable for full cleaning costs. Special arrangements can be made prior to leaving if you wish the property cleaned for you.

FRIENDS OF CAMBO
As a ‘thank-you’ to our guests who have visited us on more than five occasions, some we know on well over twenty, we have introduced our ‘Friends of Cambo’ which will give you the opportunity to make a sudden break for freedom whenever the whim OR weather takes you.
Phone on a Wednesday for last minute availability for that weekend and up to the following Thursday and benefit from these special rates available only to you.
Self Catering
Stay in whichever apartment is available for £15.00 per person per night. (valid for two people for a minimum of three nights)
NB If you arrive on a Friday and only want to stay until Sunday, your third night entitles you to the use of the apartment for as long as you wish on the Sunday
Bring family and/or friends to fill an apartment and being a ‘Friend of Cambo’ will give you a discount of 30% on the normal price for that period.
Normal rates for meals will apply.
Bed and Breakfast
Half Price! Two people for the price of one, two nights for the price of one. (valid for two people for a minimum of two nights)
Normal Bookings
You are of course already entitled to a 10% discount on all your accommodation at Cambo, but after ten visits ‘Friends of Cambo’ will entitle you to a further 5% off all normal rates.
This is not transferable nor for use along with any other offer.
MAIL ORDER BULBS/CORNS – CONDITIONS/GUARANTEES AND ORDER INSTRUCTIONS
Orders may be made by mail, ‘phone, fax or email.
Payment with order (cheques made payable to Cambo).
We accept most major credit/debit cards (minimum order value £25.00). There is 5% surcharge for American Express transactions.
We regret we are unable to acknowledge orders except where an item is unavailable or when accompanied by a s.a.e.
Bulbs/corms which have been transplanted may take some time to establish.
We cannot guarantee flowering, which depends on horticultural conditions, but we believe that all bulbs/corms dispatched by us are fine, healthy stock.
PHOTOGRAPHY TERMS OF BUSINESS
All work is accepted on the following terms:
Payment. Strictly in advance of order.
Prices. This price list replaces all others and prices may be changed without notice.
Sizes. All sizes are in inches and are approximate subject to trimming at our discretion.
Colour matching. Colour photography is undertaken within the technical limitations of the process. Colour matching to originals as possible.
Copyright. All copyright to any photographs taken by this studio will belong to us. Any photograph, the copyright of which is owned by this studio for exhibition, display, publication, competition or other promotional purposes.
Dyes. Because dyes used in colour photographic materials, like other dyes, might change in time, prints will not be warranted against change in colour.
Complaints. In the event of any complaint all work subject to the complaint must be returned within 3 days together with the appropriate invoice.
Delivery. Whilst deliver times will be adhered to as much as possible they do not constitute part of any contract.
Liability. Our liability for loss or damage is accordingly limited to re-photographing or refunding any monies paid.
Force Majeure. Every effort will be made to fulfil all orders placed with the company but completion of them is subject to variation or cancellation owing to an act of God, War, Strikes, Fire or any other cause beyond our control.
Contract. All orders, once signed, represent a firm and binding contract on both sides.
