As the weekend approached for the 2019 Cambo WedFest, we were expecting great things! WedFest 2018 was a huge success and as soon as we had announced that we would be making it a yearly event, we were extremely excited to start planning this year’s line-up and it didn’t disappoint. We were delighted to welcome back many of the hand-picked suppliers that joined us for the first year and also welcomed some awesome new talent.
The less than favourable predictions from the MET office worried us a little, the beautiful weather that graced us for WedFest 2018 had really helped make our festival style wedding fair the “must visit” boutique wedding fair of the year.
As it turns out, however, Cambo’s location in relation to the topography of Fife, once again saved the day. The Lomond hills steered the easterly-bound rain out over the Firth and Forth and parted the clouds over Cambo so that somehow, in spite of the MET office’s predictions of doom, the sunshine poured in on Cambo and bathed us in the warmth of a beautiful late spring day.
With the Cherry trees and Daffodils in full bloom around Cambo and the sun shining bright, our 40 outstanding suppliers set out their stands for the event. With live-music, lots of delicious food and drinks to sample, axe-throwing on the lawn and even alpacas in the party woodland, the atmosphere was captivating! We welcomed many keen Brides and Grooms-to-be along with their friends and families, hunting for the right suppliers that were going to set their wedding apart and they were not disappointed!
There is now nothing left but for us to look forward to WedFest 2020... Rain or shine, it already promises to be an event not to be missed!
