Cambo House & Estate Privacy Policy Notice

Cambo House & Estate takes privacy very seriously. We arecommitted to protecting your privacy. We believe that the lawful and correct treatment of personal data is critical to our successful operation, and to maintaining our customers' confidence in us. This Privacy & Data Protection Policy explains how we use the data which we collect about you, how you can instruct us if you prefer to limit the use of that data and procedures that we have in place to safeguard your privacy. This notice explains how we use the personal information you provide to us, including how we share it with third parties.

We ensure that all personal data collected and used by us is managed in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) and we recognise that, in order to maintain our reputation and integrity as an open and professional organisation, we must be fully compliant with this legislation. The personal data we collect from you includes:

Name, telephone, address, questions, queries or feedback you leave, including your email address if you contact us via www.camboestate.com

your email address and subscription preferences when you sign up to our newsletter and or alerts

how you use our emails - for example whether you open them and which links you click on

your Internet Protocol (IP) address, and details of which version of web browser you used

information on how you use the site, using cookies and page tagging techniques

The legal basis for processing this data is to perform a task in the public interest that is set out in law and is statute based.

We use Google Analytics software to collect information about how you use www.camboestate.com. We do this to help make sure the site is meeting the needs of its users and to help us make improvements, for example improving site search.

Google Analytics stores information about:

the pages you visit on www.camboestate.com;

how long you spend on each www.camboestate.com page;

what you click on while you’re visiting the site;

How long do we retain your personal information?

We will only retain your personal data for as long as:

In general, this means that we will only hold your personal data for a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 7 years.
